SF French Cinema Days

For French Cinema Days, a celebration of French film organized by French Talent USA, French Premiere, The French American Cultural Society, and MerciSF, I brought the event to life through design, rooted in the soul of San Francisco’s film culture. Instead of clichés, I turned to the city’s iconic Art Deco neighborhood theaters, where the festival’s magic happens. The graphic identity, posters, social media, and pre-movie ads all drew from the elegance of vintage marquees and bold typography, blending French cinematic flair with the Bay Area’s unique charm. Every detail was crafted to spark anticipation and nostalgia, transforming the event into a love letter to local movie-going, where French stories meet San Francisco’s timeless cinematic spirit.
